The Lianyungang Underwater World is situated on the Lian Island, which is a aquarium really built in the center of the sea. The living marine animals displayed in the aquarium include almost all representative species of marine animals. It is one of the few aquariums in China that use natural seawater to display marine animals, and it is also one of the marine museums that display a large number of live coral species in China.
